Safer Space Massage Therapy is dedicated to providing a supportive and caring environment for your massage therapy needs
Lee (they/them) graduated from Eastern College with a Massage Therapy diploma in February of 2019 and soon after began growing a home practice which grew their passion for being an entrepreneur with a purpose. Lee works from a trauma informed, consent focused lens. Their treatments generally use a moderate pressure with specialties in fascia/muscle tension, post gender-affirming surgery scar care, headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, sciatica, chronic pain, cupping, and general relaxation. Lee caters to the queer and neurodivergent community with much effort put in place to make sure each client feels at ease and welcome. At Safer Space Massage Therapy you can expect calm, cozy environment where Lee shares a home with their sweet cat Betty.
In their spare time Lee enjoys singing, basketball, nature walks, trying new recipes, and playing piano.
My mission is to bring the 2SLGBTQ+ community of Halifax a holistic and queer massage therapy experience. I strive consistently to learn about the needs of my clients, with particular consideration for neurodiversity, and gender-based support within a trauma informed lens. I am continuously pursuing the goals of being a consent focused, evidence-based practice by performing community outreach and professional development.
